ICSE
ICSE stands for Indian School Certificate examinations. The object of the Council is educational, and includes the promotion of science, literature, the line arts and the diffusion of useful knowledge by conducting school examinations through the medium of English. The Council exists solely for educational purposes and not for purposes of profit.

The C I S C E conducts three examinations, namely,

• The Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE - Year 10)
• The Indian School Certificate (ISC - Year 12)
• The Certificate in Vocational Education (CVE - Year 12).

The subject choices and syllabuses prescribed for these examinations are varied and aimed at nurturing the unique gifts of individual pupils.

The ICSE (Year 10)
The Indian Certificate of Secondary Education has been designed to provide an examination in a course of general education, in accordance with the recommendations of the New Education Policy 1986, through the medium of English. Private candidates are not permitted to appear for this examination.

The ISC (Year 12)
The Indian School Certificate Examination is an examination, through the medium of English, designed in accordance with the recommendations of the New Education Policy 1986, after a two year course of studies beyond the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (Year 10) examination or its equivalent.

The CVE (Year l2)
The Certificate of Vocational Education (CVE - 12) has been created as an examination, in accordance with the recommendations of the Ministry of Human Resource Development through the Joint Council of Vocational Education (JCVE) established under the National Policy of Education 1986. This examination can be taken by candidates alter a two year course of studies beyond the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (Year 10) Examination or its equivalent, through the medium of English. This certificate is intended to prepare candidates for particular occupations. Private candidates are not permitted to appear for this examination.

CBSE
CBSE stands for Central Board of Secondary Education. This board was set up to achieve certain interlinked objectives such as

• Prescribing conditions of examinations and conducting public examinations at the end of Class X and XII.
• Granting qualifying certificates to successful candidates of the affiliated schools.
• Fulfilling the educational requirements of those students whose parents are employed in transferable jobs.
• Prescribing and updating the courses of instructions for examinations.
• Affiliating institutions for the purpose of examination and raising the academic standards of the country.

The following examinations are conducted by the Board every year.
• All India Senior School Certificate Exam.
• All India Secondary School Exam.
• Delhi Senior School Certificate Exam.
• Delhi Secondary School Exam.
• All India Senior School Certificate (Compartment) Exam.
• All India Secondary School (Compartment) Exam.
• Delhi Senior School Certificate (Compartment) Exam.
• Delhi Senior School Certificate (Compartment) Exam.
• All India Pre-Medical / Pre- Dental Entrance Exam.
• All India Navodaya Vidyalaya Entrance Exam

The annual examinations are conducted by the Board in the month of March at the end of Class X and XII. The Board issues qualifying certificates for the same. The Core-curriculum at the secondary or Class X stage comprises of the study of Languages, Mathematics, Science and Social Studies as the subjects of external assessment. Physical and Health Education, Art Education and Work Experience are studied and continuously assessed internally by the schools.

At the senior school level or class XII, the Board provides adequate flexibility to the candidates in the choice of the subjects. However, the number of subjects assessed externally by the Board remains as five with three subjects of internal assessment in General Studies, Work Experience and Physical &Health Education. The Board has recently introduced Generic Vocational Course which a student can offer now in lieu of Work Experience.

IGCSE
The International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) has been designed for 14 to 16 year olds. It aims to prepare students for further academic success, including progression to A and AS Level study, and equip them with skills for immediate employment. It is equivalent in standard to the British GCSE and is recognized as evidence of ability by academic institutions and employers worldwide. Students who obtain an IGCSE qualification from Cambridge are prepared for further academic success, including progression to A and AS Level study, and equip students will the skills needed for immediate employment. IGCSE is recognized as evidence of ability by academic institutions and employers around the world.

IGCSE provides a broad study programme by drawing subjects from five areas: Languages, Humanities, Social Sciences, Mathematics, Creative, Technical and Vocational. Within the curriculum there is a balanced mix of practical experience and theoretical knowledge. With a choice of Core and Extended papers in most subjects, the IGCSE is suitable for students with different levels of ability. The IGCSE is an internally based curriculum allowing teaching to be placed in a localized context, making it relevant in different regions. It is also suitable for students whose first language may not be English and this is acknowledged throughout the examination progress. Grading is on an eight-point scale (A* – G) and grades A to E are equivalent to O Level Grades A to E. In some countries, IGCSE qualifications will satisfy the entry requirements for university. In others, they are widely used as a preparation for A Level, AS, International Baccalaureate and US Advanced Placement courses. Grade C in IGCSE English satisfies the English proficiency requirements of many universities in the UK and other Anglophone countries.

IB
The International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Program is administered by a non-profit organization based in Geneva, Switzerland. It is a comprehensive two-year pre-college curriculum that is offered in high schools across the globe. It is
The International Baccalaureate Program leading to the IB Diploma offers a unique opportunity to develop a strong academic base through a standard curriculum leading to international examinations. To further explore a subject of their choice, all diploma candidates are required to undertake original research and write an extended essay under the supervision of a teacher they select. Moreover, the Creativity, Action, Service component of the program, known by its acronym CAS, emphasizes the importance of life outside the world of school by requiring candidates to do 150 hours of community service, creative work or athletic activities.

Exams are graded on a scale of 1 to 7. Students receive a certificate for the successful passing of an exam. A total of 237 low-income students took 475 exams. IB Diplomas were earned by 110 students, which means these students took six or more exams, completed a 4,000 word essay, and did 150 hours of creativity, action, and community service

The Science IB program prepares students for university science programs in fields such as engineering, dentistry or medicine. The Commerce IB program, including Spanish or Computer Science options, allows students to pursue studies in business and law as well as most Social Science programs. The Computer Science option allows students to pursue studies in "information technology" programs such as Management Information Systems or "Informatique de Gestion". The Spanish option provides students with an excellent grounding in the third major North American language as well as an excellent business background.

I.B. students will be pre registered in all courses except Physical Education.
